Refund Policy
Last updated: March 24, 2026
1. Overview
All payments for GitResume are processed by Polar (Polar Software Inc.) as our Merchant of Record.
2. How to Request a Refund
Contact us at [email protected] and we will process your refund after confirmation.
3. Refund Eligibility
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal. Refund requests made after this 14-day window are not eligible for a refund, but you can still cancel your subscription to prevent future charges.
Refunds are processed by Polar in accordance with Polar's Terms of Service and applicable consumer protection laws.
3a. Refunds Initiated by the Payment Processor
Polar, as our Merchant of Record, may also initiate refunds on certain transactions in accordance with its own policies (e.g., in response to customer disputes or chargebacks). Such refunds will be handled per Section 4 below — Pro features will be terminated immediately and your account will revert to the free plan. If the payment processor's policy enforcement results in account-level service disruptions, see Terms of Service Section 9.
4. Effect of Refund on Your Account
If a refund is approved, your Pro subscription will be canceled and Pro features will be terminated immediately. Your account will revert to the free plan — any projects exceeding the free plan limit will be frozen, and you will need to choose which projects to keep active (up to the free plan allowance). Your data and projects will not be deleted, and you can continue using GitResume on the free plan.
5. Cancellation Without Refund
You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Polar Customer Portal. After cancellation, Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for the remaining time in the billing cycle.
